Industrial/Manufacturing/Distribution

Corporate/Commercial/Food Service Work

Our largest project in terms of Square Footage to date would be the building previously known as J.King's Food Service Distribution Center at massive 43,000SF. Using metal stud construction on the interior and split face block at the exterior, we also constructed 1545 Ocean Avenue, LLC's 12,000SF combination office/warehouse in Bohemia.  We have had the pleasure of reorganizing and renovating Panor Corp. warehouse, in addition to their corporate kitchen and executive baths. Projects large and small, we can and have, done them all.

Residential

We have worked with and for some wonderful companies and professionals across Long Island over the course of the last 50 years. In fact, our earliest memories of commercial work were some of the famous night clubs in Nassau back in the day. Fortunately, our work in this area has progressively grown to include corporate offices for Solomon Smith Barney, Retail Food Service such as Kitchen Kabaret and Kitchen Kabaret East, VHC's corporate offices featuring our "Showference Room", all areas of the The Irish Coffee Pub, Bellport Country Club, Hometown Café, Harvest Café, the Westbrook Conference Center and Fusion Auto just to name a few.

Showrooms, corporate offices, lavatories, restaurant, bars, wine cellars, conference rooms, storefronts, interior and exteriors...call us today with your project ideas.

Your personal, professional, full service General Contractor successfully serving the Residential, Commercial, Corporate, Food Service, Healthcare, Retail, Distribution and Industrial markets across Long Island and beyond

for over 50 years!

Whether remodeling, renovating, adding, extending, building new, adding interior and exterior features, VanHouten Construction has you covered.  In our 48 years of experience, we can confidently say, we have pretty much done it all. Very simply, "Yes, we do that."

We use traditional quality construction practices combined with technological advances in both methods and materials. Whenever possible, we incorporate universal design, both in terms of concept and function.

In recent years, we have stayed on trend with the increase in "feature" areas of a home, such as outdoor kitchens, custom fabricated furniture, indoor/outdoor fireplaces, personal libraries, custom bars, residential elevators and most exquisite wine cellars.
